During the height of the Black Lives Matter movement of 2020, I created a series of illustrations depicting people of colour who had been murdered by Police forces in America & across the world. Beginning with George Floyd, I posted GIFs of a victim slowly disappearing daily for 16 days, each accompanied by information about their stories, their 'crimes' and their last words. I staggered this as I wanted to make sure that this movement wasn't forgotten as it had been before, and it was important to know that Floyd was not an isolated incident, and it affected all POC, genders & countries. Finally, I created a graphic featuring their faces in bold type.
