Missing Girl is a short story written & illustrated by myself following a young transgender boy as he navigates his first night on the streets after leaving his Mother's home. I created 9 illustrations for this book on scratchboards, focusing on the atmosphere created by the scenes throughout his journey. Each chapter is set in a different time during this night & the following morning, I kept the nighttime graphics white over black but inverted this for the daytime scenes & their text being black over white to continue the setting.
